These air-fried steak bites are coated in a flavorful, slightly sweet spice rub that caramelizes beautifully in just a few minutes. With a base of lean but juicy New York Strip, they’re perfect for quick meals, macro-friendly bowls, or a Wicked little snack.

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz New York Strip steak (*or your favorite steak), cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ½-1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • ¼ tsp onion powder

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ Tbsp (Splenda) brown sugar

Instructions:

1. Make the paste:

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, brown sugar, salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder until it forms a thick paste. Add olive oil as needed to thin the paste to the desired consistency.

2. Coat the steak:

Add cubed steak to a bowl and toss thoroughly with the paste until all pieces are coated.

3. Preheat your air fryer:

Heat to 400ºF for 5 minutes.

4. Air fry:

Arrange steak bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400ºF for 4-6 minutes, shaking halfway through.

5. Rest & serve:

Let sit 2 minutes after cooking. Serve alone as a snack or with roasted potatoes and salad.
